Graeme Smith

Graeme Craig Smith is a South African cricketer who was born on 1 February 1981 in Johannesburg, Transvaal Province, South Africa). He is captain of the South African cricket team Test Match side, having succeeded Shaun Pollock after the 2003 Cricket World Cup. He was succeeded as captain of the ODI side by AB de Villiers after the 2011 Cricket World Cup. He is a tall, left-handed opening batsman. He is well known for his opening partnership with Herschelle Gibbs. He has scored 22 centuries in Tests and 8 in ODIs till 7 June 2011.
