Wasim Akram was
born on 3 June 1966.
He is a former Pakistani cricketer. He was a genuine left arm fast bowler. On Sunday, 7 July, 2013,
he confirmed media reports that he was remarrying an Australian born Shaniera
Thompson. He first met with her in Melbourne in
2011. His wife Huma was died four years ago. According to sources, Akram, had
proposed Ms. Thompson in Manchester on
bended knees in a lounge room during Champions Trophy 2013. Ms. Thompson has
converted to Islam. According to sources, former cricket legend’s children were
happy for their father’s marriage decision.
