Gary Kirsten

Gary Kirsten is a former South African cricketer, and the World Cup winning coach of the Indian cricket team. He played 101 Test matches and 185 One-day internationals for South Africa between 1993 and 2004, mainly as an opening batsman.

Graeme Smith

Graeme Craig Smith is a South African cricketer who was born on 1 February 1981 in Johannesburg, Transvaal Province, South Africa). He is captain of the South African cricket team Test Match side, having succeeded Shaun Pollock after the 2003 Cricket World Cup. He was succeeded as captain of the ODI side by AB de Villiers after the 2011 Cricket World Cup. He is a tall, left-handed opening batsman. He is well known for his opening partnership with Herschelle Gibbs. He has scored 22 centuries in Tests and 8 in ODIs till 7 June 2011.

Mark Boucher

Mark Verdon Boucher, a South African cricketer, was born 3 December 1976 in East London, Eastern Cape Province, South Africa, who holds the record for the most Test dismissals by a wicket-keeper. He has represented Border, Africa XI, ICC World XI, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders of the Indian Premier League, and South Africa.

Herschelle Gibbs

Herschelle Herman Gibbs, a South African cricketer was born on 23 February 1974 in Cape Town, South Africa). He is more specifically an opening batsman. He became the first player to hit six sixes in one over in One Day International cricket, doing so against the Netherlands in the 2007 Cricket World Cup. He has scored 14 and 21 centuries in both Tests and ODIs respectively. His highest score in Tests is 228 and 175 in ODIs

AB de Villiers

Abraham Benjamin de Villiers is a South African cricketer. He is also part of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. De Villiers is a right-handed batsman, who, in a very short space of time, has accumulated many runs in Tests including centuries against England, India, the West Indies and Australia. He holds the record for the highest individual score by a South African batsman in an innings, with 278*. He is an occasional wicketkeeper for the South African cricket team, and is commonly regarded as one of the best fielders currently in international cricket. AB de Villiers blasted the seventh fastest century in ODI cricket, in 58 balls, when he slammed an unbeaten 102 off just 59 balls against India in Ahmedabad in February 2010.

Hashim Amla

Hashim Mahomed Amla is a South African cricketer. A right-handed upper order batsman and occasional medium-pace bowler, Amla bats at number 3 for South Africa in Test matches and has opened in limited overs contests. He is currently ranked as the No. 1 Batsman in ODIs by ICC. He has scored 12 and 8 centuries both in Tests and ODIs respectively. His highest in Tests is 253 (not out) and 140 in ODIs.

Jacques Kallis

Jacques Henry Kallis is a South African cricketer. He was born on 16 October 1975 in Pinelands, Cape Town, South Africa. He is a formidable right-handed batsman and fast-medium swingbowler. He is one of the greatest cricketers of all time, particularly all-rounders, being the only cricketer in the history of the game to hold more than 10,000 runs and 250 wickets in both one day and Test match cricket. He was named Leading Cricketer in the World in the 2008 Wisden for his performances in 2007 in addition to being the "ICC Test Player of the Year" and ICC Player of the Year in 2005. He has been described by Kevin Pietersen and Daryll Cullinan as the greatest cricketer to play the game.
